- Our letters cost from £5.99 (Free postage within the UK.)
- Father Christmas creates three types of letter. One is to read before Christmas, one is for Christmas Morning, and the third is a DIY Letter option - which is completely personalised and can be read whenever you choose. For more about these, please visit our shop.
- Each letter is carefully folded and bound with a red or green ribbon, then placed in a magical envelope bearing your child's name. See more samples.
- All letters and their special envelopes arrive hidden in a second, plain A4 envelope, addressed to the appropriate Grown-Up.
- We have several different letters available for you to choose from in our shop.
- If you are buying one of our completed letters, as well as your child's name, Father Christmas will add a P.S. of your choosing at no extra cost, to give your letter that special, personalised touch.
- All Rooftop Post's Christmas letters are signed "Father Christmas", not "Santa" - but of course, if you choose our DIY letter, you can put whatever you like.

- All our Father Christmas letters can usually be ordered from September onwards.
- We create a few new story-letters every year and as a rule, we add them to our shop in October.
- We're different from other letter companies because our letters don't give your child a pile of generic sentences to read, but deliver Father Christmas's news in an enchanting, story-telling style which makes every child who gets one feel Christmassy all over! To read one is to be let in on a magical world. See some magical pictures!
- The main content of our story-letters is predesigned by an artist. Each child's name is added to both letters and envelopes using a specially designed matching font.
- If you want to, we now have an option for you to write your own letter from Father Christmas. The elves will then present it as beautifully as possible for you!
- You can choose your child's letter from a range of products. In our shop, you will be able to read a short description of each letter's story. You can also view a picture of each letter, though we have had to protect them by placing a large copyright symbol over the top.
- All our story-letters have lovely illustrations which complement the enchanting details about Father Christmas, his magical helpers and the North Pole.
- We recommend that you order your letters as early as you can, or at least 14 days in advance of the date you wish them to arrive.
- Please Note: there is no religious content in any of our story-letters, they are intended to be fictional, magical and fun!
- If you are not satisfied with your letter, we do have a returns policy.
- We do all we can to protect your privacy and we do not share your details with anyone except to the extent necessary to complete your order.
