What does Father Christmas write about in this letter?
"The Missing Ingredient" is a letter which Father Christmas wrote when he was feeling rather tired at the end of a long day. In it, he explains that his tiredness is largely due to having been sent to fetch a missing ingredient by one of the fairies. This would have been a simple enough task except for the fact that the ingredient needed is actually a scale from a dragon. Poor old Father Christmas has to trek at least a mile down to the deep, dark caves under Christmas House to find one. Luckily, Father Christmas finds his old dragon friend is pleased to see him and they enjoy a cup of sulphur tea together. Finally, he collects the missing ingredient for the fairy.
What does the letter actually look like?
Much like the image above, but larger and clearer. Letters are a little bit smaller than A4 in size. They are all full colour and on the back is a decorative, Christmassy design. If you choose to add a personal PS to this letter, it will be done using a beautiful font of Father Christmas's curly handwriting. 
Upon creating these letters, what Father Christmas wanted was to make them look as magical as possible - and we believe he has done a good job.
How is the letter packaged?
This letter is gently folded, tied with a ribbon, and placed in a colourful envelope bearing your child's name. The whole thing is then placed in a plain envelope for posting, addressed to a parent or guardian. This is so that if there are small eyes around when it arrives - it looks like an ordinary piece of mail. Tip: We suggest that you leave your child's before Christmas letter somewhere around your house for him or her to find. There's nothing like the look on a child's face when they think a letter has magically appeared!
Anything else it might be useful to know?
You might like to know that this letter is signed "Father Christmas" rather than "Santa" or "Santa Claus". There is no religious content in this letter.
