This letter is ideal for anyone who wants to create a little Christmas magic without breaking the bank. How does it work? You write the letter contents in the box above - and we will change it into our special font and arrange it as a letter from Santa. It's especially useful if you're a busy parent with limited time to spare - you give us the words and we'll do the rest. It's a great fun to do for your own child - or as a special present for someone else's! How much shall I write? You can write a long letter or a short one. If you don't want to write very much, we will make the writing on your letter bigger, so that it fits the page. On the other hand, if you want to write a long letter, we will make the writing slightly smaller. You have enough space to write up to 300 words. We're sorry that we don't have a word counting facility on our website yet - but if you want to check the number of words or characters you have written, you can always copy and paste your text into a free online word counter such as this one, which opens in a separate window. What are the advantages of a DIY letter? There are lots. In fact, the reason this product is available is that so many people have said they'd like it! Tip: If you are writing a lengthy letter, it's always a good idea to do it on your word processor first, so that you can check for spellling or typing errors. We think it's a good option for anyone trying not to spend too much this Christmas or for those who have a lot of children to buy for. To keep the cost down, this letter differs from our usual letters in th following ways: The budget Santa letter and its envelope have a largely white background. The special envelope it comes in is smaller than those of our other letters. (Its dimensions are 110 x 220 mm). The red ribbon we carefully tie around the budget letter is a little thinner than those tied around other letters and we do not include a nametag. It takes us a little less time to put together than our more expensive letters - although we still give care and attention to every order. How is the letter packaged?
Each letter is folded into three, tied with a thin red ribbon, and placed in an envelope bearing your child's name. The whole thing is then placed in a plain envelope for posting, addressed to a parent or guardian. This is so that if there are small eyes around when it arrives - it looks like an ordinary piece of mail.
