Details

Can you tell me more about what Father Christmas has written in this letter?

"The Wrapping Room" is a letter which gives life to a very special room in Father Christmas' house.  As its name suggests, The Wrapping Room is where the elves magically wrap up all the presents... but sometimes things go wrong.  For example, when a new and rather clumsy elf turns up to work there, poor old Father Christmas finds himself with quite a few problems - from breakages to wrapped up elves!  In this letter, he tells your child all about it - as well as saying thank you for being so good.

Although it is suitable for all ages, we've had a lot of parents say that they like to give this to their younger children, as little ones like the  pictures of elves.  It's certainly a good choice of letter if you have a child who wants to know more about the elf-magic that goes into preparing all the Christmas presents.

At then end of the letter, Father Christmas also mentions Rudolph, tellling your child that he likes to go out flying before Christmas to practice for Christmas Eve - and that often he likes to make sure that children are being good about going to bed.  This makes "The Wrapping Room" a very useful letter if you're trying to encourage children to go to bed on time.  (The idea that Rudolph might be flying over your house to check can work wonders! )

Anything else it might be useful to know?

Not that we can think of.  Father Christmas does make a point of saying well done for being ever so good in this letter - so if you're adding a PS, you probably don't need to reiterate that.

What does the letter actually look like?

Much like the image above, but larger and clearer. Letters are a little bit smaller than A4 in size. They are all full colour and on the back is a decorative, Christmassy design. If you choose to add a personal PS to this letter, it will be done using a beautiful font of Father Christmas's curly handwriting. Upon creating these letters, what Father Christmas wanted was to make them look as magical as possible - and we believe he has done a good job.

  How is the letter packaged?

This letter is gently folded, tied with a ribbon, and placed in a colourful envelope bearing your child's name. The whole thing is then placed in a plain envelope for posting, addressed to a parent or guardian. This is so that if there are small eyes around when it arrives - it looks like an ordinary piece of mail. Tip: We suggest that you leave your child's before Christmas letter somewhere around your house for him or her to find. There's nothing like the look on a child's face when they think a letter has magically appeared!
