What does Father Christmas write about in this letter?
"The Spell of the Spriggan" is a magical letter to read on Christmas Morning. In it, Father Christmas tells of how stopping in a strange land because Rudolf needed a drink led them to meet a most unusual creature.
That unusual creature was a spriggan - and it was rather hoping for a Christmas present. At first, Father Christmas wasn't sure it had been good enough to get one this year, but then he discovered a kind and useful spell the spriggan had put on the nearby river.
What does the letter actually look like?
Much like the image above, but larger and clearer. Letters are a little bit smaller than A4 in size. They are all full colour and on the back is a decorative, Christmassy design. If you choose to add a personal PS to this letter, it will be done using a beautiful font of Father Christmas's curly handwriting.
Upon creating these letters, what Father Christmas wanted was to make them look as magical as possible - and we believe he has done a good job.
How is the letter packaged?
This letter is gently folded, tied with a ribbon, and placed in a colourful envelope bearing your child's name. The whole thing is then placed in a plain envelope for posting, addressed to a parent or guardian. This is so that if there are small eyes around when it arrives - it looks like an ordinary piece of mail. Tip: Parents tell us that they like to leave Christmas Morning letters under the Christmas tree, as if Father Christmas has left it there with the presents.
Anything else it might be useful to know?
Yes. It might be helpful to know that Father Christmas does not mention he is on his way to the child's house anywhere in this letter - so it's a good choice for children who are spending Christmas away from home.
