What does Father Christmas write about in this letter?
"Tricky Tree Trolls" is a magical letter to read on Christmas Morning. It's a dark, chilly night and Father Christmas is scribbling aboard his sleigh, on the way to the child's house.
In an effort to explain how he can see in the dark, Father Christmas begins by telling us all about the small creature sitting on his hat, shining a torch down so that he can write. It is one of some less well known helpers - imps.
We learn that imps are extremely useful little creatures, and as the sleigh whizzes onwards through the night, they even manage to save the presents from the clutching fingers of a greedy tree-troll.
This is a lovely letter for any child who likes unusual magical creatures.
What does the letter actually look like?
Much like the image above, but larger and clearer. Letters are a little bit smaller than A4 in size. They are all full colour and on the back is a decorative, Christmassy design. If you choose to add a personal PS to this letter, it will be done using a beautiful font of Father Christmas's curly handwriting.
Upon creating these letters, what Father Christmas wanted was to make them look as magical as possible - and we believe he has done a good job.
How is the letter packaged?
This letter is gently folded, tied with a ribbon, and placed in a colourful envelope bearing your child's name. The whole thing is then placed in a plain envelope for posting, addressed to a parent or guardian. This is so that if there are small eyes around when it arrives - it looks like an ordinary piece of mail. Tip: Parents tell us that they like to leave Christmas Morning letters under the Christmas tree, as if Father Christmas has left it there with the presents.
Anything else it might be useful to know?
Yes. This letter begins with Father Christmas saying that he is "flying through the night to your house" and ends with him commenting that he "can see your house coming into view". Consequently, this letter would be a good choice for a child who is spending Christmas in his or her own house, and not for a child who is spending Christmas away from home. You might also like to know that this letter is signed "Father Christmas" rather than "Santa" or "Santa Claus". There is no religious content in this letter.
