Details

What does the Tooth Fairy write about in this letter?

As you may know, the Tooth Fairy is the builder of Fairyland and in this letter she tells of how she is building a path through a magical forest, to stop the fairy-folk from getting lost.  She is planning to cobble the path with bright, white teeth so that it will stand out against the forest gloom - and intends to use your little one's tooth as one of the tiny cobbles.

For those of you who want to get a flavour of the tone of this letter, this is how it begins:

"I'm on my way through the night to pick up your tooth and I thought I'd write you a little note so that you can read it in the morning,  when you wake up.   I've just had a chat with the North Wind, who blew past your window a little while ago and he told me that you're fast asleep, which is very good of you because I can't pick teeth up whn children are awake, so well done."

Is there anything particular I need to bear in mind about the contents of this letter?

Yes.  This letter has been written by the Tooth Fairy  as though she is on her way to pick up your child's tooth.

Is this letter suitable for boys and girls?

Yes.  You could give this letter to a boy or a girl.

What does the letter actually look like?

Much like the image above, but larger and clearer.  Letters are roughly A4 size.  They are all full colour and on the back is a decorative, cloud design.  Upon creating these letters, the Tooth Fairy wanted to make them look as magical as possible - and we believe she has done a good job!

  How is the letter packaged?

This letter is gently folded, tied with a pink or light green ribbon, and placed in a colourful envelope bearing your child's name.  The whole thing is then placed in a plain envelope for posting, addressed to a parent or guardian.  This is so that if there are small eyes around when it arrives - it looks like an ordinary piece of mail.

If you have any general questions about Rooftop Post's letters, why not check our our FAQs?

As you may know, the Tooth Fairy is the builder of Fairyland and she uses all the teeth she collects to help construct or maintain the magical white buildings of the fairies who live upon the clouds.

In "Repairing the Fairy Queen's Castle" the Tooth Fairy tells your child about how one of the Fairy Queen's walls have come crashing down, leaving her with a large hole in the side of her castle! The tooth that the Tooth Fairy has just collected from your child will be used to help mend it.

In general terms, this is a lovely letter for girls or boys and as well as saying thank you for the tooth, it encourages children to keep their teeth clean.
