DescriptionChristmas Morning Letter: Flying Arrows, Shooting Stars
What does Father Christmas write about in this letter?
If your child likes a bit of excitement, this is the letter for you. From aboard his sleigh on Christmas Eve, Father Christmas tells the story of how he meets a goblin princess on a dark and dangerous mountain. She tries to steal the presents, but just as she is about to get them, a friendly water-elf conjures a rain-cloud and saves the day.
What else would it be useful to know?
Not really; this letter is suitable for everyone, though we are told it is particularly popular with boys. If you are composing your own P.S. it may be useful to know that this letter ends, “I must stop writing now because we’re very close to you and I want to leave this letter with your presents, so that you can read it in the morning when you wake up. I do hope you’ve enjoyed it and that you have a lovely Christmas day!”
AGE RANGE ADVICE: Parents have told us that this letter has been enjoyed by children of 7+. That said, because all our letters can be given to children as a gift to keep and re-read over the years, many of our customers think of age as unimportant.
What’s all this about adding a P.S.?
All letters are personalised with your child’s name but if you like, you can also add a short P. S. to this letter. It’s your chance to play Santa!
Customers usually add something personal which is just for that child. Some examples from other parents are: “Well done for that brilliant story you wrote for your teacher. You’re so good with words – it’s quite a talent!” or “Give your Mummy a hug from me and tell your Daddy my reindeer could hear him snoring all the way down the street!” You get the idea.
We will place the P. S. on the bottom of the letter, using a font of Father Christmas’s curly handwriting. Please note that while we try our best to be vigilant, we cannot guarantee that we will spot any typos or spelling errors you may make.
Adding your own P.S. is entirely optional – the letters look just as pretty without.
We do not charge extra for this service.
How is the letter packaged?
This letter is gently folded, tied with a ribbon, and placed in a
colourful envelope bearing your child’s name. The whole thing is then placed in a plain envelope for posting, addressed to a parent or
guardian. This is so that if there are small eyes around when it
arrives, it looks like an ordinary piece of mail.
Tip: Parents tell us that they like to leave Christmas Morning letters under the Christmas tree, as if Father Christmas has left it there with the presents.
