Christmas Morning Letter: The Green Man and His Gold

What does Father Christmas write about in this letter?

A cross little leprechaun is the subject of this letter. Father Christmas meets him in the middle of the sky as he speeds around the world. The little man is busily transporting his crock of gold from one secret hiding place to another and is none too thrilled to see Father Christmas and the reindeer – for he is quite convinced that everyone is out to steal his treasure!

Father Christmas does his best to appease the leprechaun up by offering him some gifts from his sack, but he turns them down flat. “Still”, thinks Father Christmas as the reindeer pull his sleigh away into the night, “all the more presents for good children!

What else would it be useful to know?

Nothing really. This is a good choice of letter for most children, though we do sell more of them to people ordering for boys.

What’s all this about adding a P.S.?

If you like, you can add a short P. S. to this letter. It’s your chance to play Santa!

Customers usually add something personal which is just for that child. Some examples from other parents are: “Well done for that brilliant story you wrote for your teacher. You’re so good with words – it’s quite a talent!” or “Give your Mummy a hug from me and tell your Daddy my reindeer could hear him snoring all the way down the street!” You get the idea.

We will place the P. S. on the bottom of the letter, using a font of Father Christmas’s curly handwriting. Please note that while we try our best to be vigilant, we cannot guarantee that we will spot any typos or spelling errors you may make.

Adding your own P.S. is entirely optional – the letters look just as pretty without.

We do not charge extra for this service.

How is the letter packaged?

This letter is gently folded, tied with a ribbon, and placed in a
colourful envelope bearing your child’s name. The whole thing is then
placed in a plain envelope for posting, addressed to a parent or
guardian. This is so that if there are small eyes around when it
arrives, it looks like an ordinary piece of mail. Tip: Parents tell us
that they like to leave Christmas Morning letters under the Christmas
tree, as if Father Christmas has left it there with the presents.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is free within the UK. Recorded delivery is available for an extra charge. Delivery costs to other countries are variable, depending on the weight of your order and where you live. You will be able to see any shipping charges in your cart before you pay.
