Christmas letters, Santa wanted to write one that doesn\u2019t assume a child is feeling jolly or enthusiastic.\u00a0 After all, we all have many emotions in the festive season, and none of us are the same.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t get us wrong &#8211; we love letters that are full of excitement and surprises, but we also know they can be a bit much for some.<\/p>\n<p>At Rooftop Post, we have neurodivergent children in the family who sometimes find the festive build-up overwhelming.\u00a0 So we asked Santa to create an alternative: a quieter kind of magic that recognises the needs of some autistic and neurodivergent children.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1879\">We hope this letter helps reassure children who feel unsure about Christmas, or who need more predictable language, or benefit from a Santa who doesn\u2019t expect them to react in a certain way.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1886\" data-end=\"2058\">What exactly is in the letter?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>In this letter:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2220\">\n<p data-start=\"2147\" data-end=\"2220\">Santa shares that he, too, sometimes finds Christmas busy and needs quiet.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2223\" data-end=\"2323\">\n<p data-start=\"2225\" data-end=\"2323\">He reassures the child that his visit will be &#8220;nice and calm&#8221;
