Free Easter Bilby Colouring Pages

Celebrate Easter the Australian way with these free Easter Bilby colouring pages for kids!

Did you know that the Easter Bilby is a much-loved Australian alternative to the Easter Bunny?  Bilbies are native to Australia – they are small marsupials with long ears and soft grey fur – and at Easter they can be just as magical as a rabbit.

We’ve reflected this magic in our collection of printable Easter Bilby colouring sheets.  They include the Easter Bilby in his burrow, and decorating a tree and painting eggs for Easter with his friend, Bandicoot.  Because it’s autumn in Australia, we’ve included lots of lovely falling leaves in our drawings too.

As usual, all colouring pages are free to download and print for personal, classroom or homeschool use.

A bit about the Easter Bilby:

In Australia, the Easter Bilby was introduced as a way of raising awareness about native wildlife and conservation.  Unlike rabbits, which are an introduced species in Australia, bilbies are native and considered vulnerable in the wild.  Many families enjoy sharing the story of the Easter Bilby with children as part of Easter celebrations.

These colouring pages are a gentle way to introduce children to Australian animals while enjoying a creative Easter activity.  You might also like these Easter Bilby printables.
